“This morning we presented Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke and Evansville fire chief Mike Connelly their own custom Evansville Hoses Hockey Team jerseys to say thank you for supporting our team. Both the city and the fire department have gone above and beyond to make sure our team always has a facility to use for our charity games and practices as well and make sure our players are able to be there. It's always a pleasure working with Evansville's own "Hoses" hockey team. These firefighters work hard off the ice, but when they're on the ice they participate in a Charity Hockey Match that is in its second year with proceeds going to numerous charities. 911 Gives Hope manages the Guns Vs. Hoses Hockey Championships and determines which charities receive help.
